Great Time at the Billy Jonas Concert!

A wonderful time was had by all at yesterday's Billy Jonas concert at the Ardsley Community Center for the benefit of Briar Bush Nature Center!

Congratulations to all of the winners of free tickets donated by Briar Bush and "Thank you!" to all those who joined in the fun of our ten-day ticket giveaway via Facebook. Several people have already contacted me to share how much fun they had at the show.

My own kids and I had a blast, as well. This was no surprise to us as we had seen Billy Jonas and his band perform previously and they were wonderful then, as well. But, some new songs made this year's playlist and all of them were GREAT! Some favorites of ours were "Some Houses", "What Kind of Cat Are You?" and "Tongo!". Throughout the show, the audience was invited and encouraged to join in by singing and making music with things that were around them such as car keys, paper programs, their shoes, etc. Why? Because "everybody's in the band!" just as one of Billy's DVD titles proclaims.

A big and sincere "Thank you!" to Briar Bush Nature Center for not only bringing this talented performer to our neck of the woods, but for all of their wonderful programming for children of all ages! If you haven't yet visited Briar Bush, make a point to remedy that soon!

Briar Bush Nature Center offers over twelve acres of land to explore, a museum, butterfly house, and more. They also offer programs for scout troops and schools and summer camp and school's out programs for those random days off from school throughout the year!

Look for more pictures from the Billy Jonas show on the North Penn Under Ten Facebook page tonight!
