As you may know, the annual International Spring Festival is being held at North Penn High School this Saturday, April 21st beginning at 11:00AM. This is a truly awesome event that should not be missed! Don't believe me? Read this post from last year!
Each year, youth volunteers are sought to participate in the opening ceremony in the procession of flags. A few spots remain available for children who are interested in participating! (Early elementary children may need a parent's help to carry the flag, older children will most likely be able to carry it on their own.)
Children are encouraged to dress in clothing reflective of their culture or ethnic heritage. While volunteer coordinators do their best to pair children with the country they will visually represent, that may not always be the case as there is only one flag available for each country and multiple candidates.
