Back by popular demand (don't you love that phrase?)... Christ United Methodist Church will be offering a special Christmas Eve Worship service for young children and their families on Christmas Eve afternoon.
As they arrive, young children will have the opportunity to choose to dress as an angel, a shepherd, a wise person, or remain a 21st century observer for the service. An interactive drama will tell the story of the first Christmas as children play their chosen parts and adults join in singing Christmas carols. A birthday cake for Jesus and congregational candle lighting (with small electric candles for the children) will welcome the Christ child on a level young children can understand.
